政治社会学およびラテンアメリカ地域研究。自然言語処理技術などを用いて、メディア情報の収集解析を行い、政治体制や経済システムの変化が、市民社会や社会運動のあり方にどのような影響を及ぼしているのかを比較研究している。

私は、グローバル化が進む現在、社会運動やNPOなどの市民社会の集団が、国家、国際機関、企業、宗教などの様々な勢力と、どのようにして共生の道を探っているのかを研究しています。

私の研究対象はメキシコが中心なのですが、様々な地域に関心をお持ちの学生の方々と出会い協力しながら、「グローバル共生」の課題に取り組むことを楽しみにしています。社会学が生み出してきた社会理論や分析手法を学び、一緒に勉強しませんか？
